 | The Polfarmex S.A. company was established in 1989. At that time it employed 5 people and traded in medicines and imported raw materials for medicine production.
Currently, Polfarmex S.A. is a dynamically developing Polish pharmaceutical company, authorised by licence No. FAO-W/209/98, issued by the Polish Ministry of Health. |
Its products are manufactured in compliance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Hygienic Practice, and the HACCP system, in conformity with Codex Alimentarius. In December 2001 an audit was conducted which ended with a positive result, certifying the quality system in terms of its compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
The product quality is guaranteed by well-tested personnel, but also by modern machines and equipment, owing to which new technologies may be implemented in the manufacturing process. The company has at its disposal sound technical and professional base, owing to which it can perform its own research and development work, both as its own studies and implementing other parties’ solutions.
Polfarmex S.A has at its disposal strong research and development base. It employs highly qualified staff who are fully capable of developing technologies, preparing registration documentation (also for other pharmaceutical companies) and of implementing the production of any preparation in wet or dry formulations. This enables the company to constantly develop the range of manufactured medicines. Currently, the company employs over 600 people, with the majority of employees having university education. In 2003 it started to develop its own network of sales representatives. The group now includes 120 people and the number is growing. This provides an opportunity of conducting promotional activities targeting physicians of various specialities and pharmacists all over Poland. |
